Heather Nauert
Heather Ann Nauert, born on January 27, 1970, is an American broadcast journalist who was previously an official in the federal government. She served as the spokesperson for the United States Department of State during the Donald Trump administration (2017 to 2019). She is a senior fellow of the Hudson Institute, a conservative think tank.
Prior to becoming a member of the Department of State, Nauert was a Fox News reporter and news presenter for Fox & Friends. Nauert also served as acting Secretary of State for Foreign Public Relations and Diplomacy under the Trump administration from March to October 2018. In the year 2019, Trump appointed Nauert to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board and the President's Commission on White House Fellowships.
